The food here really is outstanding. I always think of JD's as a breakfast/brunh kind of place. If your looking for something more than just an omelet, they have it. They serve lunch and dinner too, but for me it is all about breakfast. My daughters say its a bad place to be while on a diet. After 30+ years in Castro Valley they are finally expanding with more seating inside and outside. The only side note I have is that they could work on their Coffee Refill Rating. I'm all about the "Bottomless Coffee Cup" at breakfast
