Have been going here for four years. Very good omelettes - especially my Mexican/Taco favorite. Lots of potatoes, and terrific Texas-style (thick) toast. Sometimes hard to get into. This and Lil John's in Bellevue (and Voillas in the UDistrict) are my favorites.

This place is fantastic! There is often a wait, but the building is pretty big and they work very hard to get you seated as quickly as possible. Really, no one should be surprised that they have to wait because everyone wants to eat here; it's simply the best. They have a great selection; I'd recommend the cinnamon roll French toast (made from their giant homemade cinnamon rolls), but if you aren't that big of an eater there's always the lighter fare breakfast too. You won't be disappointed!

Excellent food/service. Handcrafted meals - top to bottom. Bakery on site does their cinnamon rolls (size of a SmartCar) and all breads, including english muffins which are enormous too. Hearty portions. Wonderful selection. Wait staff is very friendly and accomodating. Easy to get to - take the 20A exit (northbound anyway) off the 405 and it's about 1/2 block east of the off ramp. This one's a keeper. Prices seemed somewhat higher than my experience in the SEA area but I didn't mind it given the handcrafting of the food.

There is NO better breakfast in the entire Seattle area than the Brown Bag Cafe! Great tasting food, huge/ginormous portions, great variety of mennu choices (a fruit omelette!) and hands down the hottest, most fun waitresses taking great care of everyone. You owe it to yourself to partake. It's an especially great place for the hangover brunch.
