Outdoor (only) restaurant in South Phoenix.

This restaurant is a great place to take out-of-towners. It doesn't look like anything you'd expect in Phoenix.

You dine outside under huge shade trees. The restaurant is closed all summer, but even in spring/fall it can get pretty warm in the late morning.

The food is all organic, much of it from the farm it is a part of. Unique dishes that you won't see other places...they range from the very good to the exceptional. They generally have a couple of specials which can be very good but are less consistent than their regular dishes.

A smaller menu than many breakfast places. Not a lot of traditional items on the menu.

You get your own coffee/tea/water from one of two communal beverage stations.

There can be lines on the weekend, but sometimes you can get lucky and not have a wait at all.

Dog-friendly.

I like this place, but it is not my favorite in town. It is worth the try and then you can determine. I have been here several times and have gotten the Croque Mesier and french toasts. I found it expensive but that was a while ago, now it is probably ok.
