If you're looking for a great breakfast you probably won't find it here. Service is good but food is very fair. Homefries have an unusual texture and bacon portions are small. Lots of better places to try in the area.

Decent experience overall. The restaurant itself is inviting and very clean. The food was okay. My husband ordered french toast. He said he's had better, and we both agree his soup tasted like heavily-salted Campbell's. My breakfast sandwich was good, but the egg was cooked over well (I ordered it scrambled). When I brought it to our waitress's attention, instead of offering to fix the problem, she replied, "That's how the sandwich normally comes." I don't enjoy returning food to the kitchen so I ate it. On a brighter note, the breakfast potatoes were good. We may give Pop's another try, but I think we'll visit the Chesapeake location instead.

Visited Pops Diner for the first time this weekend with my family and was amazed with the service and cleanliness of the restaurant. My drink stayed full, and not just from my waitress filling it. For once in a restaurant it seemed like the whole staff cared about the service of every table. I would definitely return and bring friends.

Pop's diner is our family's favorite place to eat. It's service it top notch and the food is wonderful. It's friendly atmosphere is great for a quick bite to eat on my lunch break or Sunday breakfast with the children after church. I just found their new location in Chesapeake which is great! Highly recommended

Pop's makes some of the best omelettes I've ever had. They have a good variety of delicious omelettes and each one is as hearty as the next. The lunch/dinner menu is pretty simple but everything I've tried on there is excellent and served in heaping amounts. I love the Greek influence on certain menu items as it brings a refreshing touch to the general area. Pop's homefries(breakfast potatoes) are to die for, and if you ask for it you can even get them for lunch or dinner too! The service quality at Pop's is top notch and there always seems to be plenty of waiters and waitresses walking around, ready to refill your beverages even when the place is packed to the gills(which is often). Pop's Diner is a great place to eat and is an excellent bargin!! I highly recommend it!!
