We went based on the previous reviews looking for amazing biscuits and gravy. While the price was amazingly cheap the biscuits tasted out of the can and the gravy just wasn't good. The coffee was watered down though I did get one refill. Local environment was nice and there were several "regulars" that no doubt liked the food. But when looking for a great breakfast experience, I look for five eggs - and this just doesn't pass muster.

I stayed in Austin for the evening and read the review on the biscuits and gravy. That reviewer was not joking. They were fantastic.

If you are looking for Biscuits & Gravy this is the place! They are a double cut above any we have ever had... and had we've tried them throughout the country.

If you want anything else off the breakfast menu I'll let you do the review... I just can't seem to order anything but the biscuits and gravy.

Extremely friendly atmosphere and certainly has that Austin charm we demand in this city. Unfortunately, they are closed on Sunday.
