I had lunch here and was expecting decent food.

Unfortunately, my friend and I encountered omelets that were not fit to eat. They were very dry and flavorless. We asked for salsa and they charged us for it!

When leaving the manager asked us how the food was and I told him. His only reply was that he would speak to the cook. That certainly didn't help me at all.

From now on I will go to First Watch where I am never disappointed.

Monument Colorado - We overlooked the none-too-pleasant odor of the restaurant (should have been our first clue) and proceeded to our table.

I ordered eggbeaters, hash browns and pancakes. I'm Irish and truly never met a potato I didn't love but my breakfast at IHOP today changed all that. The eggbeaters were rancid, the potatoes tasted of day-old grease (day-old at a minimum).

The food, in a word, was inedible. The server was kind enough adjust the bill. Thanks. We won't be back. IHOP management is strongly advised to stop in and investigate. That odor has to go.

We took our Grandson to eat there on President's Day when the weather was nice, and he left his coat. Actually I think it slid off his seat and we didn't see it or think about it since it wasn't cold when we went out. When I stopped by to get it the man was very rude and said it wasn't there. But I could call and ask the night shift which I did. That man was nicer but still didn't offer to check with the cleaning crew or the waitresses. It was an expensive coat and my grandson is very upset (maybe lesson learned). But if they were honest and caring they would have been able to return it to us. Also, his name is in it and they are the only ones in the phone book. Why don't people go the extra mile any more. I do!

My husband and I go to this IHOP pretty regularly - at least once a month for breakfast. I have never had a problem there. Our experience with service is "average" to "excellent." The menu is typical IHOP, the dishes taste like IHOP food, no disappointments. The place is usually pretty crowded on weekends and holidays. I recommend it.

Got the decent, expected IHOP experience on a Memorial weekend morning. Lots of choices for everyone in our extended family group, but typical (slightly high) chain restaurant prices. Service-- by a waiter named Ben-- was friendly and without delays or hassles. Coffee refills expedited by having a pot placed on the table (a slight downgrade from an attentive waitperson coming by regularly). A plus that chocolate chip pancakes were made with cocoa in the batter (not all IHOPs do that nowadays).

Friday evening, Nov 25, 7 p.m.
IHOP 1224 Eisenhower Pkwy, Macon GA (Please forward my comments on to headquarters. I picked up a comment card, but it was addressed to the Macon, GA IHOP!!)
As my husband & I were waiting for our meal, the manager decided to hold a staff meeting in the doorway of the kitchen. We heard every word!
He began by saying that it was insubordination for anybody not to do whatever he told them to do. He called one lady over from the other side of the kitchen. She told him, loudly, that he didn't need to tell her her job- she knew what she was doing. He ignored her (wasn't that insubordination on her part?) & told his employees that a lot of money was going out of his own pocket. He asked them, "I need somebody to volunteer to help ME out between 1 & 4 tonight." He went on to tell them to stay busy, and nobody could use cell phones during the "employee meal." He also told them there was not to be any fighting & "no verbal abuse to anybody."
This probably needed to be said.
It should NOT have been said at a place & time that customers would hear it!

My name is Dorothy Gaither, and I was treated like total crap by a waitress they called Dusty. She was rude and very loud. She just wouldn't stop. She was in the kitchen and the whole resturant heard her. I called the main office about it, and told them the whole story. Did I get a sorry or any answer to my complaint? No I did not. I work for walmart, and was up there doing a remodeling job on the store. Most of the servers were good, the best one was a guy named Andy. I do know, that I am going to tell everyone I know(which is a whole lot of people) not to go to that IHOP. The food was good. I just want to know one thing, what bar did they get that waitress,Dusty at?
