This review is an update from the one I posted in 2008... Baleen still boasts the same fabulous yacht harbor setting... but... The ownership has changed, and the menu is now verrry upscale, with astronomical prices to match... Its to the point of being waaay overpriced... I forgot to mention in my previous review that my husband & I really liked the interior and outside patio decor for being rustically warm & cozy... whereas now the contemporary environment is too cold looking to suit us... We do not eat here anymore...

This place gets a 5 Golden Egg rating mostly for the setting... (The food is good too)... Located wharf-side at the Marina in King Harbor... Every table has a fabulous waterfront view of yachts... This is one of my husband's favorite spots to have a leisurely early breakfast for a treat once in a while... Yes, it's a little pricey... So what... !!!
