This small diner is on the wrong side of the tracks in an industrial/residential area of low priced homes on the parking lot for a skating rink.

It was another very happy surprise for us. We've had a run of luck lately.

The menu was rather sizable for a one short order cook breakfast/lunch diner with one very pleasant waitress always at hand with the coffee pot.

My Italian omelet had, well, lots of Italian stuffing. The Italian toast was Italian of all things rather than just another Wonder bread.

My wife is particular about her waffles. Hers was just right. The cook offered maybe some strawberries or something would be nice. Nice indeed, said the frau. Her bacon was near perfection.

The coffee was fine - a common sore point for us.

Oh yeah, the prices are dirt cheap.
