Clyde's has been a Waynesville institution since I was a child. When the Super Wal-Mart opened across the street the place exploded; good luck getting a table now. They have a broad appeal with burgers, full plates and a large selection of veggies. Breakfast is wonderful; prices on same level as Waffle House. Very family-friendly.

Breakfast rocks here! They have some of the best pancakes that I've ever eaten. They also have good hash browns and gravy/biscuits. If you're in there for lunch or supper, they have an excellent Sunday dinner. Everything is good there! It's been there since the 50's or 60's. They still have their original sign out front that has "air conditioned" on it! Classic!
