This restaurant has the yummiest cornmeal waffle! I recommend getting it with pecans and ginger butter for a dollar extra. You do have to pay with cash or check, which is a little bit of a pain, but the service was great with lots of smiles. I would go back again.

This is one of the best breakfast places in town. I really enjoy the ambiance, love the self-serve coffee station, and the food is very good. The menu is somewhat limited, even for breakfast, but I often just have one of the specials. Waits on weekends can be long, but if you get there early or late, it is very bearable, if at all.

I love this place. Good main menu, fantastic specials, friendly wait staff. I just wish it wasn't so crowded and full of screaming babies.

World's Best Breakfast Restaurant. Seriously. Even in a a city of fabulous breakfast places, the J & M stands out. Highlights? The serve-your-own bottomless cups of Stumptown coffe, the gorgeous space filled with natual light even on the grey and dreary days, the helpful, unassuming staff...all contribute to making it great. But the food- oh, the food. The J&M plate- poached egg with fotina cheese, over a muffin and topped with bacon- so delicious. The tofu scramble with basil and fresh feta cheese, the belgian waffles...I'm getting hungry just thinking out it. Always plenty of food, always reasonably priced, always surrounded by beautiful people. This is as good as it gets.
