Love the country kitchen for breakfast, best eggs benny around. Service is good. However the place needs a makeover, have been going there for years and the place has not changed. Wanted to go there for breakfast this morning and they had NO AC!!! Really it's 95 degrees outside and no AC? Sorry not sitting in any restaurant without AC. Apparently it's been that way for a week. Went else ware for breakfast. If this keeps up they'll be off my list. Shame to the food is good.

If you value delicious food, this restaurant is a sure bet every time. You can find the perfect mix on the menu from healthy choices to wonderfully indulgent.
Everytime we eat here, we feel that we are getting good, home-cooked meals with great flavor, not the typical fare of franchise restaurants that are drowning in sauces and butter.
Hollis Country Kitchen is a warm and friendly restaurant. If you are local then you'll recognize familiar faces. If you are new to Hollis, it is a nice introduction to the area.
Bottom line - a great value for the money.

Fried clam dinner was way over done. So crispy they were hard to chew.

My husband and I frequent the Country Kitchen about once a month or so for breakfast. We've always had excellent service, the coffee pot comes around often and the waitress always fills up the creamer bowl. The food is very good and the portions are large. We've been to several area breakfast places and this is our favorite.

We tried this restaurant based on the multiple reviews by one poster. We weren't sure we were in the right place. It was small cramped, crowded on a Saturday morning. We figured we it had no place to go but up, but we were wrong. The menu is very limited and the staff we not very helpful. I got an omelet which had frozen broccoli as one of the ingredients, also the mushrooms tasted like they came from a can. Service was mediocre at best, we had to ask someone to find our waitress a number of times. Finally, I thought the prices were high compared to other restaurants that we frequent and we won't be going back.

I am a regular customer of Hollis Country Kitchen and am always consistently happy. The best time to go is during the weekdays. They are always very very busy on the weekends. My friends and I love their omelettes. I think the food is really good. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Husband and wife are the owners and cooks. Food is always great. I love the homefires with hollandaise sauce. I recommend this restaurant very highly!

I have a feeling that the other reviewers are part of the family that runs the restaurant.
No air conditioning was evident on a very warm day. Two Pancakes cost $5.95, home fries were greasy, Jelly dispenser was not well stocked and we found the staff not to be very helpful. So if you want an somewhat expensive mediocre breakfast then Hollis Country Kitchen is the place for you.

A friend recently recommended that we try Hollis Country Kitchen. I am so glad we did. We took our family with us and everyone was more than pleased with the food. Our breakfast was delicious. The place is small but clearly always busy with a friendly staff. We could see the lady chef running the show by herself. The waitress said she was the owners wife. Its always nice to go someplace where the owners are the cooks because the food is always good. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and definitely recommend it! The omelettes are amazing!

Food is good but product is inconsistent. It seems they run out of things frequently and just toss anything in to substitute. Not the place to go if you are expecting complete customer satisfaction. Very rarely accept returns to the kitchen on botched orders or inaccurately served meals. Take it or leave it attitude..but still pretty good for the most part. Could stand a good cleaning too.

If you love breakfast, this is THE place to try. They have a huge breakfast menu and everything we have tried is great! They always seem busy, so go early. We sat outside on a very nice patio area they have and it was relaxing. I undestand this restaurnt is chef owned by a husband and wife team. This always seems to ensure a good meal. They are also open for lunch and dinner. They have excellent seafood. Try this cute little place - you'll love it!

Hollis Country Kitchen is an extremely cute little place with incredible food. We have had breakfast there several times and each time we are more thrilled. Their Eggs Benedict is the best I have ever had. Their corned beef hash is homemade and is absolutely delicious! They have a huge breakfast menu and homemade muffuns which are great.

They have a very enjoyable patio area which we really love to sit in. Very friedly staff and an excellent woman cook who is the owners wife. We highly recommend this place. They are very busy on the weekends, but it is always worth the wait!

We've had breakfast here several times and they never disappoint. They have a very extensive breakfast menu as well as dinner. Open 7 days a week; 6:30 am til 7 and 8 on weekends.

Owned by a Greek family and the cooking is supurb. The staff and owners are very friendly and courtious. My absolute favorite is their Greek Omelet served with fried potatoes, toast and unlimited coffee. Verrrry yummy!!!! Must try it.
