What a great little place in Downtown San Diego. We chose the outdoor seating option and ordered Pecan Waffles and Peanut butter and banana stuffed French Toast, respectively. They were both fabulous. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and the service is attentive. A great breakfast with no downsides. Highly recommended.

I love the pumpkin waffle, turkey bacon, and strong coffee. Lunch was good, but breakfast was excellent. There is not a lot of seating but it is cute inside. Lots of parking and you can buy waffle mixes to make at home. A lot of healthy options, friendly service.

Fine downtown breakfast spot. Nice mix of pancakes, waffles and egg dishes. I like the waffles and home made hash. Modern design, with lots of windows. Restaurant is only 5 or six indoor tables, plus some on the side walk. Busy on weekends and you'll have to wait outside, but they have free coffee while you wait. Nice website www.cafe222.com
