MISSION BEACH LOCATION-

This was one of my all time best breakfasts. The french toast was so good that putting syrup on it would have taken away from it's deliousness. Really good coffee, great pancakes and excellent service. I haven't been to the other locations, but the atmosphere at The Mission at Mission Beach was fantastic. It was definitely worth the wait, and it's so popular that there is probably going to be a wait.

GASLAMP DISTRICT LOCATION
-------------------------

Fabulous breakfast & bakery on a Sunday morning .. ..

Let's call the area 'eclectic', just east of PETCO PARK and a nice walk from anywhere in Downtown .. ..

Ordered the RANCHEROS VERDES and did it start off Sunday with a bang - FANTASTIC, FRESH TORTILLAS that just melted in your mouth .. .. Beautifully presented for a breakfast .. ..

COFFEE just kept coming and even ordered a BROWNIE & CARROT CAKE to take home .. .. They were huge and tasty!!

For the reasonable prices they charge and the top-notch food/presentation, there is no better breakfast value in California!!

I went to college in S.D. & every time I go back to visit I try to stop by The Mission. Great atmosphere and location. Great staff. Great selection, big portions, creative dishes. But most importantly, great food! I once went when I was feeling very sick and they totally took care of me, blended together a special tea to make me feel better.
Parking not so easy & sometimes there is a long wait but there are little shops all around- you can browse while you wait!

I like the breakfast here- pancakes, french toast. I had a chicken sandwich for lunch and the chicken was not cooked all the way through and was a little chewy- I'm sticking to breakfast. The two locations have totally different atmospheres- N Park has an artsy crowd but is a sketchy area, downtown is clean and nice, but longer waits.

Everytime I go to The Mission I am blown away. Everything I've had has been awesome and I love their Rosemary Bread. I buy a loaf or two every time I go. I tell all my friends about this place and go whenever I get the chance. If you haven't tried it you must do so immediately. Enjoy!!!

the best visual presentation (5 star), expertly made breakfast food (tastes so good), super friendly/helpful waitstaff, clean restrooms, coffee bar/bakery in one corner of the restraunt (if you want to grab and go), truly one of the best restaurants i have ever gone to: breakfast, lunch, or dinner
