I've eaten here several times on visits to Florida, both breakfast and dinner. The food is great. The service is awesome. And the expense is very reasonable especially since you usually have enough to take home for later. My brother and Mom introduced me to the restaurant. They eat there at least once a week.

Great southern style cuisine. I hade the fried chicken dinner. It was half a chicken pressure fried. My sides of choice were collard greens and fried okra .
The greens were nice and spicy with sausage chunks and garlic! I think I'll have to modify my own recipe!!!
All I needed was some cornbread. Took half the meal home for dinner later.
Don't let the long line at the door discourage you. It was worth the wait. They only serve breakfast and lunch, so don't dawdle.
I'll be back for the biscuits and gravy.

I'm what you would consider a breakfast connoisseur; not as much as Mr. Breakfast though. Anyway, Kissin' Cousins was the second place I ate breakfast at when I first arrived here in St. Pete's. The first was Waffle House. The third was another local establishment. So I sat there eating my 2 eggs over-easy, corned-beef hash, regular hash (not the smokeable kind) , and biscuits & gravy. What I can say is this, and I'm not exaggerating: I've had better but there aren't many; not even a handful. The Red Fox in New Hampshire is one. The Radisson Hotel on Airport Rd. in Warwick, RI (Johnson & Wales culinary students work there), and 'The Barn' in Adamsville, RI. The last would be the 'Sea-view Station' in North Kingston, RI. Yeah, I've only lived down here for a little over a month and I'm sure I'll find other good places. Enough of me rambling. It's 7:30 in the morning and I'm going out for breakfast. Take a guess where...

Everyone at the table enjoyed the food and said.."this is a place to come back to"!

I agree. The only thing that I didnt like was the very dry toast.

Service was good also!

I love this restaurant I eat there atleast 2-3 times a week. Everything they serve is delicious and very affordable I have 3 kids and they love this place just as much as I do. I've eaten there for over 15 years.
