For a place listed on Mr. Breakfast to get 5 eggs, the place should at least serve breakfast on a Saturday, right? This place has a very Mexican inspired menu, and is located downtown Houston right near Rice university and the museum district. The menu was lunch-dinner tacos, burgers, and other south American fare. Not an egg in sight. Large portions, free chips and salsas made for a decent early lunch. Nice music and decor as well.

I went to the Amazon grill for breakfast, and i had the best coffee, the best empanadas ever!!!!!! My wife had the omelet which was divine.
My 2 kids had waffles with strawberry and of course they got cotton candy. The only thing i would change is to have the breakfast all week long not only Saturdays and Sundays. I will definitely come back.

P.s: Very helpful & friendly staff.

Amazon Grill is already known as a great place for lunch or dinner. They've recently started serving breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.

What a great surprise this was for breakfast! The staff was VERY friendly. There was a table with all of the breakfast items on display and they explained each one to us. What we ordered was excellent, as I'm sure everything else is. We can't wait to go back to try some of their other unique South American breakfast items!

Coffee and refills are self-serve, so it's a bottomless cup. The coffee was perfectly brewed and hot....and it was Starbuck's brand.

Their wonderful plaintain chips and sauces were offered in addition to the wonderful breakfast breads...all complimentary! The music was South American jazzy and made for a perfect Sunday breakfast/brunch!

See you there!
