Eggs Benny are killer. French toast is very good, as well. Hopefully the management will explore the option of offering mimosas!!! Overall, this is a fine establishment....try it!!!

If you want a non-greasy healthier restaurant option, definitely check this place out. If you're going for breakfast on a weekend, plan on a 30 minute wait. The atmosphere is a little more old-fashioned and comfortable, and the servers tend to be of the older crowd (not college students). (Contrary to another commentator, I would not recommend Jack & Benny's unless you are into the college-type atmosphere with greasy food prepared right in front of you.)

This is pricey on a college budget. My father and I went here the first time he visited me on campus. Its in a nice place in german village. I have eaten at the First Watch in Cincinnati on 7th which is a lot nicer (decor wise). I went here looking for a nice breakfast. I wasn't disapointed however for the price it was not as good as I would have liked. Stick to Jack and Benny's (I know this is the second review in which I tell people to go there but I really like the place)

First Watch is only open from 7 am until 2:30 pm, and the place fills up. The menu is lite and healthy but filling; for example, hearty whole-wheat pancakes that come with fruit and wheat germ. If you ask for coffee, they will bring you an entire pot to serve yourself. The coffee isn't that great, and neither are the potatoes, but I recommend the Greek omelet. There are daily specials as well as brunch and lunch menus. There are vegetarian offerings and the service is very good.
