The wonderful Walnut Grove Restaurant - the best by far in the whole area - has been replaced ... by an empty lot - what a shame.

The Walnut Grove closed a couple of years ago and has been long since torn down. It should be removed from the reviews!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sadly torn down for development. Was the BEST breakfast in the area & served all day too. Homemade biscuits & gravy to die for!!! Great Country Fried Steak, Omelets, wonderful Walnut Rolls & Homemade Deserts. Wonderful old world service.

A San Juan landmark for over 30 years, family owned and operated Walnut Grove is a meeting place for locals, good value for tourists and you may catch the occasional celebrity passing through. Long-time waitresses are friendly. Best breakfasts: chicken fried steak, eggs benedict and waffles. Children are welcome.
