Having said all good things about my old friend Dick's restaurant, I must sadly inform you all that it has been closed for over a year. We miss it a lot, and many friends saw each other only there over the years. Tax problems were the end of it, so I heard, and I believe that happens to many small businesspeople. The food was great, they were all friendly, and the greasy spoon was not greasy, or not excessively. Another neighborhood joint gone, and nothing to replace it. We now go to TeeJays sometimes, and Frisch's
Big Boy, but it isn't the same.

Save the neighborhood places while you can!
