Waited over 40 minutes for our meal when larger parties who arrived after us received meals more quickly. Food was so bland that not even salt or pepper could make them taste good. "Biscuits and gravy" platter does not include SAUSAGE in the gravy (we're in the South - "biscuits and gravy" ALWAYS implies sausage gravy). When we expressed our distaste the waitress suggested we go to Bob Evans next time.
Service was rude and condescending, which is sad for "foodies" who prefer to support independent business. Will never return and have suggested others don't either.

We discovered this restaurant after moving to Lutz about two years ago. We used to go to the Brunchary on Hillsborough until it closed down.

Savvy Jacks is run by a very nice French couple. He works in the kitchen and she works in the dining room.

The meals are high quality basic breakfasts. The service makes you feel like family. We were just there on Sunday and the wife was out of town, so the service was not quite as good as usual.

We have always looked for local restaurants instead of the chains. Savvy Jacks is now our local favorite.

Make wonderful omelets and they have a granola and fruit "sundae" that is to die for. Everything is made from scratch.
