The price for the food was not worth it. I ordered one omelette and it took 45 minutes just for it to get to me, and it was not a particularly busy day. I have a dog named Luke. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially if you are on a cross-country trip with your father whom you despise.

Best Omelette I have ever had, and the owner and her son are so nice to chat with. Really enjoyed it, and is always worth the wait. Highly recommend.

We make sure to stop at the Omelette Factory every time we are in Ogunquit. The variety of omelettes are amazing and the homemade breads and jams are delicious. We'll be back in April.

Can/t understand how anyone can write a negative review on this place. A fun place, great food and good service. I even called ahead one year to be sure they would have the lobster omelette and it was ready for me. See you again in June

the absolute best place I have driven from ct several times just for those blueberry muffins and cindy the owners geat country humor. To the IDIOTS that bash this place maybe you could take some lessons on how to run your business rather than bash succesful competitors. ERNIE from ct

Hands down, best breakfast place in town. We have been going there for years. It is the only place we even consider for breakfast. Cindy and her staff are amazing. Don't miss it!

Well we woke up one morning and found the omelette factory. let me tell you what we both had the redneck omellet. That was the best omellet we had ever had. Well september 15 will be our two year anniversery and we are going back to maine. That is were we will be for breakfast. The food there is so good. The people are so nice.

I have been there twice this week because there was so many choices I went back a second time to try something else. If you are not big eaters 2 people can easily split an omelette. Just get a side of english muffins or homefries to share also. Cindy & her help are very friendly. It is amazing to watch Cindy whip out the omelettes.

It was a wonderful breakfast experience from start to finish. Our coffee cups were never empty, the homemade blueberry muffins were melt-in-your-mouth good. We ate a corned beef hash omelette special which was enormous (and could easily have fed 2 people). The space was small but the company-staff and other diners alike-were friendly and smiling. Our waitress was very attentive and never seemed rushed despite the wall-to-wall crowd. Go eat there, its a great start to your Ogunquit Day!

I've been spending my summer vacation in the Ogunquit area for the past ten years. There is no better place for breakfast in the area than the Omelette Factory. The omelette's are big and perfectly cooked. The sweet breads and muffins are baked fresh every day. How anybody can find Cindy, the owner, as rude, as in another review is beyond me. The service is fast and friendly. A small place with open kitchen. If you can, sit at the counter. Watching Cindy do her thing is a pleasure in itself. A small place that I wouldn't recommend for very young children. If you want a great omelette this is the place to go.

Small little reataurant, great food over 40 different omelettes and everything else. They make all their own Breads, Jellies and toppings. Not a good place for young children, crowded. Been there over 25 years. Lobster and shrimp omelettes were huge. Great service. Dont miss it if you are in Ogunquit.

I think the host missed the day at school when they taught manners. I am not sure why this place is still in business after reading the other posts that match mine. I like breakfast - I cant stand the Omelette factory... Grumpy old Mr. host must have a case of bad gas.

I don't know why anyone would eat there. The service was terrible, the waiter was extremely rude, and the food certainly wasn't worth it. Don't waste your time.

Terrible service - I agree that the owner was rude. I would suggest any other place in town over this place. If it is your only option, I would just skip breakfast.

The host was extremely rude. There is no room for children. They have no high chairs. We heard other people also say the food was definitely not worth the wait. I wouldn't trust anything they cooked.
