New ownership a few years ago but no substantial changes. Lots of yummy fritatas, excellent Mexican options, great home fries, a real waffle (vs Belgian) special is a bargain, and it's a family oriented place with a horde of regulars. Coffee is always quick and hot to your table. The back room is usually full and kinda loud, but it's one of the places I have to hit when I get back in the area from travels. M3 for me with flour tortillas and some sliced tomatoes. Yummy!

food was ok, restaurant has a nice view of the the 40 year old tweekers on bicycles and crack whores on magnolia avenue.

Breakfast and lunch only restaurant. Open 6 am to 2 pm. Friendly wait staff. Good food and very good portions for the price. Also check out their San Diego (Old Town) location on Taylor and Pacific Highway.
