An intimate and sophisicated storefront restaurant with an ever-changing art display. Their seasonal menus are based on local produce The only breakfast served is on Sundays from 10 to 2 and they call it brunch. Most breakfasts come with their renowned diner potatoes - or grits if you prefer. Pancakes feature the fresh fruit of the season- strawberries,blueberries or peaches. Interesting treatment of the usual breakfast items and occasional specials. Today's (7/6/03) it was Dayboat Scallops Benedict on Country Ham Hash, accompanied by greens from locsl farms. I have NEVER had a better scallop dish-seared on one side without overcooking.
You won't be disappointed.
