I grew up in Lockport and have since lived in NYC, New Jersey, Honolulu, DC and Maryland.... have yet to find a better hotdog than a Reid's whitehot with sauce a smothered with sauteed onions..... in fact had one last week while visiting family..... it ROCKS.... wish I had one now....

Reids is the best! I now live in Arizona but whenever I make it home Reid's is one of the first places i visit. And if I go too long without making a trip home, my grandma sends me a jar or two of the Le Frois sauce!!!!

The best hangover cure there is! Got me through college. On tip, order everything "with sauce".

This fast Food Drive In has been around before the word Drive In was first used.In the Summer you walk up & order @ open air windows,(it's Cool),It's enclosed in the winter.Reids opens @ 1030 am & closes around 8pm.Feed a family of 4 for around $7.00 or less.They serve Hot Burgers,Dogs(red or white hots),hot ham & cheese,fries,rings.Ask for the sauce on everything you order(it's red & very tastey) If you like onions ask for(Smothered)It means fried onions.There Milkshakes are great.I like the blackberry ones.They serve soft & hard Ice Cream in the Summer.Small eat in area or Picnic Tables are outside.Take your food across the bridge & sit @ the Park on the NYS Erie Canal & watch the Boats go by.
