riginally from the windy city, Pete Punito made the move to Los Angeles five years ago, leaving behind a successful run as the MC at Chicago's famous Drinking Bird Lounge. Within months of moving to L.A., Pete co-founded The Space Theater group. Originally a theatrical work shop, The Space soon came into its own as a popular venue. The remodeled theater recently hosted a sold-out ten-week run of Nick Monohan's Jimmy Christ (Pete played Joseph).
In March of 2001, Pete joined Leonard Nemoy's Company Of Angels theater group. His debut with COA was Sam Shepard's Suicide In B Flat. Some of his other stage credits include The Dumbwaiter, The Zoo Story and Leonard Melfi's Birdbath.
Pete's many screen credits include the Austin Film Festival favorite Junked, The Godson (in which Pete is paired with his childhood idol Dom Delouise), and the soon-to-be-released independent film Essence of Echoes.
Pete is also a member of the modern crooning duo Natural Phenomenon Ocean, which the LA Weekly referred to as "the wittiest vaudeville duo in recent memory" and BackStage West called "reminicent of the Rat Pack, full of ease and charm".
