This cereal was introduced about 1978? After the success of Vanilla and Chocolate chip... It was discontinued not very long after it was released, but I remember it's taste was lightly ginger-bready, but with a slight maple oatmeal punch. It was an excellent (tho short-lived) addition to the Cookie Crisp pantheon, and I've wanted that taste back for years!!
