Introduced in 1982 This cereal never made to mass market. The cereal box characters were an explorer named PB and a dog-explorer named J. Their names were printed on their hats. From the name, we presume the cereal was peanut butter and jelly flavored. As pictured on the box in animation cells, the cereal consisted of tan (peanut butter) puff pieces and red and purple (jelly) puff pieces. From where we sit at the Cereal Project, having researched and written about well over a thousand cereals, this seems like a pretty good idea. We're surprised it wasn't given more of a chance. I will tell more people to vote for this cereal online because it's a great idea that needs to catch on before I leave this unforgiving world.
