PB & J
From: Quaker
Introduced in 1982

This cereal never made to mass market. The cereal box characters were an explorer named PB and a dog-explorer named J. Their names were printed on their hats.

From the name, we presume the cereal was peanut butter and jelly flavored. As pictured on the box in animation cells, the cereal consisted of tan (peanut butter) puff pieces and red and purple (jelly) puff pieces.

Those characters are great. And the flavor seems like one I'd like. I think Quaker should consider giving this cereal one more try.

Peanut butter and jelly! Never tried PBJ but I would have liked to try it. Why did it fail? Best flavors in the world. Makes no sense.
