Bran Flakes (Kellogg's)
From: Kellogg's

This cereal was developed around 1923 by Kellogg's then-chief manufacturing executive Eugene McKay.

A television commercial in 1983 explained why you might consider eating these flakes:

"Staying fit takes two kinds of exorcize: exorcize for you outside and exorcize for your inside... with Kellogg's Bran Flakes. Kellogg's Bran Flakes are loaded with fiber to exorcize your insides as only fiber can. Plus, Kellogg's is the only Bran Flakes that gives you a full days supply of iron in each delicious bowlful. So if you plan to stay fit, don't just go halfway. Get Kellogg's Bran Flakes... they help keep you fit inside."

Company Description: Kellogg's was originally founded as the Battle Creek Toasted Corn Flake Company in 1906. The company's founder Will Keith Kellogg is credited with inventing corn flakes along with his brother John Harvey Kellogg. The company was renamed the Kellogg Company in 1922...
