Introduced in 1991 Addams Family Cereal was produced as a promotion tie-in for the 1991 film The Addams Family starring Anjelica Huston, Raul Julia and Christina Ricci. The box described this cereal as "the creepy, crunchy cereal with the great taste you'll scream for." The prizes packed with the cereal included small flashlights made to resemble the film's characters Lurch, Uncle Fester and Cousin It. The cereal pieces which resembled skulls and other ghostly shapes were described as tasting like a mixture of Honeycomb, Kix and Cheereos.... but with less flavor. Please bring this flavor of cereal back. I was an addict when I was a kid, and couldn't get enough of it. I used to eat an entire box on a Saturday morning. I remember trying it when it first came out (hang on to the intact boxes with flashlights still on them, if you have them. It was incredibly difficult finding a box that didn't have the cellophane wrap torn open and the flashlights stolen!) I described the two flavors as "chocolate" and "brown".
