Fiber One Bran
From: General Mills

This is considered the original fiber one cereal. Some variations of the cereal box call it "Original Fiber One Bran Cereal". In 2011, General Mill's Fiber One website called the twig-shaped cereal "deliciously simple" and suggested, "Let your taste buds be your guide and we'll take care of the fiber."

Each serving provides a whopping 57% daily value of fiber. That's 14 grams of fiber per serving.

Company Description: Officially created in 1928, General Mills traces it's history back to the 1860's and the ownership of two flour mills. Since then, the company has become the world's 6th largest food company - marketing to over 100 countries... Read on and see all cereals from General Mills

I've had this cereal for several years and enjoy the fiber it contains. But now I can't find it in my local stores. Has it been discontinued?

Fiber One was introduced by General Mills in 1984. It contained Nutrasweet brand sweetener (yuck!). I have a series 3 box from 2-85.

This cereal is great. It has an unexpected sweet taste and provides a lot of healthy fiber. I eat it at least once everyday and it's good every time.
