Gonna have to give this a try. I only recently discovered peanut butter on hot dogs, which is excellent.

Tasty! Instead of the wax paper I microwaved the peanut butter and poured it on.

Put the peanut butter on the wax paper and put in the freezer until stiff.

The peanut butter doesn't peel off the wax paper... what am I doing wrong?

I experimented with doing this same exact thing, back in 1984, when I was in Appleton, WI. It was my first experimental cooking. I am an experimenter, when it comes to cooking. I love to try new things.
I didn't like marshmallow fluff or chocolate, but do love jelly on the omelet.
Only thing to watch for... peanut butter will "bubble out" if you use too much. Remember, it gets thin when heated, and might "boil" out of the omelet.

I'm sure I will make this again. I should have used more Peanut butter. The wax paper did not work for me. I think the best way is to flip the omelet then spread the P.B. then fold the omelet.

Sounds like it would be disgusting, but it's really very good in actuality.

I am 18 and I would have to say I have been doing this since I was 16. I was really bored so I decided to do something random and made a peanut butter omelet well I loved it. I used a knife to spread it.

Actually the peanut butter most people eat (jiffy, squirrel, etc) is terrible for you. Filled with hydrogenated vegetable oil which is toxic to the human body. If you want to eat peanut butter, the healthy kind, just get one where ingredients are simply 100% roasted peanuts.

I love this! I used to make peanut butter omelettes years ago as a kid! I now make them for my children and they LOVE it! I never tried the wax paper idea though, seems like a good idea. I will give it a shot!

I tried adding Cheeze Whiz to my scrambled eggs today and I love it. It really had a great taste. As far as peanut butter goes, that would be a little bit of a stretch for me. I have some at home. When I was little we were not allowed to eat peanut butter. My mother did not know that there was a lot of nutritional value to p.butter and thought it was just food for the poor (we were not rich). I never tried it until I was 30 years old. I feed it mostly to the birds now. I actually do like to try peanut butter and bananas now or jelly and p.b. Thank you.
