I helped the kids make this for my dad's birthday. I asked them what we should get grandpa and they remembered that he loves pancakes. Today, he told us they were the best pancakes he ever had. He may have just been being nice, but I think he was serious!

Just a question - does this really make four servings? I was surprised at the small quantity. I would like to give this to someone as a gift, but as I haven't got a waffle maker - I can't test it out myself... Thanks!
Note From Mr Breakfast:
Hi Winston. For most waffle recipes, 1 and 1/2 cups flour to 1 and 1/4 cup liquid will usually serve 4 people, but the servings won't be very big. You might consider making 2 jars to be safe.

This is a great, simple wholewheat recipe. I switched the brown sugar for 1 tablespoon of brown sugar Splenda (lower calories), added a touch of vanilla essence and a drop more milk to achieve my preferred consistency. MMmm perfect!.

We loved this recipe. I also added the flax seed meal and it made the waffles have just a little texture. Even my picky 3 yr. old ate them!! Thanks for the great recipe!

I love this recipe and my kids think these waffles are AWESOME. We do replace 1/4C of whole weat flour with flax seed meal and its super delicious!!!!! Not sure what peka was talking about. I have also turned this recipe out to several friends whom love it just as much as we do:)

Wow do i disagree with peka. This a fun idea and good recipe. Although note that i added 2 more tablespoons of sugar and reduced the baking powder by 1/4 teaspoon.

This was a horrible recipe. Not only did I waste ingredients, but time.
