That was cool. I was looking for something very different - but still vaguely similar to oatmeal. The consistency was like a thick soup. The flavor was great. Who knew you could do this with wheat flour. Great discovery!

Hey info. yeah it is! and halwa can be made of anything from almonds to carrots to semolina to chickpea flour among various things.

This is not really Indian porridge nor is it Halwa (Indian Pudding). The Indian porridge is made with cracked wheat and milk not flour and Halwa is made with semolina.
